Bethany Navajeevan College of physiotherapy is managed by Bethany Navajeevan province of the Order of Imitation of Christ; Bethany Ashram has been in the field of education for eight decades. This religious community is founded by great educational and visionary Late Archbishop Mar Ivanios.
Bethany Navajeevan College of Physiotherapy came into existence during the academic year 2005-06, with an annual intake of 30 students. This was the first college to start BPT degree Course under the University of Kerala. Since the year 2010, the college became affiliated to Kerala University of Health sciences, Thrissur ; and the annual intake of BPT students were increased to 50 from the academic year 2011-2012. Master of Physiotherapy ; the post graduate degree course was started during the academic year 2013-14 onwards with an intake of 10 Students offering an intake of 5 students for Musculoskeletal and Sports branch and Neurology branch.
Inspired by the vision, the mission of BNCP is to continue the healing ministry of Jesus Christ by maintaining high professional standards and quality academic formation, developing individual skills, concentrating on the overall development of the students, based on efficiency and value orientation and enabling them to face the emerging challenges of this world.
To raise a group Of intellectually capable, practically Skilled professionally sound, spiritually inspired. socially committed and devoted completely to the ones committed to their care. Thus becoming the instruments of God’s charity, care, compassion and healing in this world.
Bethany Navajeevan College of Physiotherapy encompasses the zealous motto "LEARN TO HEAL". to promote and proclaim the awareness of professional education ,the depths and bounds of physiotherapy ,the healing touch of a physiotherapist in reviving the essence of human life and function.
